Around three weeks ago, a close friend of mine showed me her collection of diaries, and in one second I was more than obsessed with them. I had plenty of diaries at home that I hadn’t used, but that wasn’t going to stop me from looking at more. It had become an obsession, really. To hoard aesthetic looking products and never not use them. A little seamlessly shameless moments of vigorous stalking later, I stumbled upon a web store that I had known of for a really long time. And to my surprise things weren’t the same this time around.
Isn’t browsing the internet like walking through the mall with stores that look suspiciously similar to the last?
One word, encompassing the quirks of a handful of revolutionaries, in their own e-ccentric way, PROPSHOP24, has for real changed the game of being quirky, the authentic way.
Founded by Amtosh Singh and Utsav Vohra, it’s an e-commerce website, that in their own words has “carefully curated, ridiculously awesome products that make great gifts.”
The products that you see on the website, are designed and created by them, with lots of love, in India. They’ve curated brands from across the globe, and have carefully put together an eclectic collection on their store.
Launched in 2012 as an e-store, Propshop24 was voted best online speciality store, ultimately leading for its own store launch in Bombay in the year 2015.
The team consists of thorough visionaries with a little bit (A LOT) of edge to each of them, and also, consists of two 4 legged balls of fur! It’s legit. I mean it. The doggos (Meishka and Rio) are mentioned on their website as a part of the team’s ensemble.
They were however extremely generous enough to have me raid the website and keep things I like. Of course, I went with another diary – because, duh.
I picked up three items, which are photographed below by my all time favourite, Arpita Patel!
Check their website out, you guys! They’re the MVP when it comes to being the #CuratorsOfCool, and rightfully so.
